Parking/transportation pre-tax program Project Interior Designer/Architect- (Design Focused) What we are looking for Interior Designers/Interior Architects who can bring heavily themed concept designs into built reality Experience in highly creative projects, television/movie set design, commercial, or hospitality projects with 5-10 years of experience Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Experience with concept ideation, renderings, custom products and finishes, furniture selections and custom furniture design, space planning, art curation, and art directing Experience with custom fabrication and technological sophistication, large size projects or HQ experience Excellent Revit/Smart Modeling, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills (Rhino skills a plus) Excellent 3D graphic rendering skills Ability to work with the Director to develop strong design concepts and accurately document them in design presentations and construction documents Ability to mentor and lead the design process with more junior designers Experience with space planning, FF&E specifications, material selections, codes, and coordination with consultants Available for regular out-of-state travel as needed by team Fluent in written and spoken English Valid work permit (USA) What we prefer Experience with design-build projects or large HQ projects LEED and/or WELL accreditation Progress towards NCIDQ Certification or Architectural Licensure This position is for our Washington, DC office only. 100% remote candidates will not be considered.
