IT Support Tech 1 Requisition ID req30208 Working Title IT Support Tech 1 Position Grade 09 Position Summary Position Summary: TheInformation Technologies (IT) Applications Division is looking for anindividual who can assist with creating and maintaining a web application. Thechosen individual will help create and maintain the back end database as wellas the web application front-end for a specialized project. This individualwill work closely with technical staff and the customer to develop thisapplication. This individual must have agood attitude, great work ethic, and excellent communication skills (bothverbal and written). We are looking fora team player - a personable, detail-oriented, self-sufficient person who canwork with different people. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: As demonstrated by supporting documentation (cover letter,resume), the ideal candidate will possess experience in the following areas: Web Application design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Web Frameworks such as Laravel Media Design skills such as graphics, wireframing, prototyping (e.g., Adobe XD, Visio, LucidChart, etc.) MySQL or SQL Server Database Management Systems (DBMS) Providing customer support Providing technical support Documenting process and technical architecture In addition, the ideal candidate could possess Solid MS PowerPoint skills Experience with MS Visio Minimum Qualifications: Have some experience in database design, SQL for DDL and DML Have some experience in web application design and programming In addition, applicants must possess: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility Able to work with minimal supervision Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented Solid MS Word and MS Excel skills Additional Requirements Applications need to include a complete professional work history with dates and hours worked.
