Job Description As the Digital Marketing Manager for Myriad's Oncology business unit, you'll play a key role in bringing our brand to life by developing high-performing content experiences that serve the needs of providers and other priority audiences. You'll lead the digital strategy for oncology and execute with a team of internal and external creative talent by collaborating with digital, campaign, channel, and product marketers to translate user needs and business objectives into compelling campaign and messaging strategies. Your work will span touchpoints and mediums across the entire customer journey with our digital content, from building brand awareness to lead generation by creating advertising copy and SEO-rich content to generate interest in Myriad's products.
To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic thinker that can easily go from conceiving a high-level content strategy to putting the words on paper. You should be an expert in creating content that addresses customer needs while embracing and building equity for the brand. You are comfortable and experienced in working with stakeholders of various disciplines and levels and are constantly seeking new insights and perspectives to better shape your strategies.
Responsibilities - Use business goals, market insights, and customer insights to create compelling campaign, messaging, and content for enterprise growth initiatives, related to upper funnel advertising, owned websites, and lead nurture.
- Drive website content strategy and development for digital-first content experiences to address user needs and drive brand and search equity.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Digital Marketing, Oncology Business Unit, Clinical, and PE teams in developing key artifacts for customer-centric marketing strategies and impactful content.
- Write or lead agencies in writing marketing content that performs for a variety of formats, including long-form web video content, paid search ads, sales collateral, and paid social media advertisements.
- Oversee internal and external designers to ensure creative continuity across all touchpoints within Myriad oncology campaigns and experiences.
- Collaborate with analytics partners as needed to establish performance goals and measurement strategies for content strategies and experiences.
Qualifications - 5-10 years of experience in creative strategy and content development, including both developing campaign and messaging concepts from scratch for new brands/initiatives, and evolving existing content strategies to better perform.
- Experience leading both internal and external direct reports; proven ability to recruit freelance talent and build a network for ad hoc creative needs.
- Expert ability in developing a campaign messaging strategy and effectively translating it to various marketing mediums, with an emphasis on paid search, digital owned content, social media, and more.
- Expertise in using customer research to develop compelling, outcome-driven campaign messaging.
- Expertise in writing for SEO; able to take keyword trends and other search data and translate it into content strategies and execution plans to drive increased organic discoverability for brands. Oversee talent to create content that performs.
