Copy Editor Job Description

The Copy Editor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all written content produced by the company. This includes editing all marketing materials, website content, and other written communications. The Copy Editor will also work with the writing team to develop and implement style guides and editorial standards.

Responsibilities:

• Edit all written content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Work with the writing team to develop and implement style guides and editorial standards
• Review and approve all marketing materials, website content, and other written communications
• Identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage
• Ensure that all content is clear, concise, and easy to understand
• Make suggestions for improvements to the overall quality of written content

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Copy Editor
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other word processing software
