Copier Technician- Impact Office Technologies

POSITION SUMMARY

This field service position is responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office equipment in the Southern California area. This position is also responsible for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service and products, thereby influencing the sale of office product equipment that is offered by Impact Office Technologies.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS

• • Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• • Manage all part inventories and utilize all assets and resources to achieve targeted financial results and create superior value for our customers.
• • Analyze customer needs, recognize business opportunities, and influence sales volume growth.
• • Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional.
• • Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
• • Provide accurate feedback with call close information, parts usage reporting and customer meter readings.
• • Perform other activities that support IOT and our service organization.
• • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:

• • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• • Needs to pass a background and drug test.
• • High School Diploma or GED; AA Degree or equivalent technical training

Experience:

• • 4-10 years as Copier Service technician

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to do the following:

• • Ascending/descending ladders, stairs (up to 3 flights) and ramps while carrying loads.
• • Perform activities such as balance, bend/stoop, crouch, kneel, push/pull, reach, squat repeatedly.
• • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, sitting or lying prone for prolonged periods.
• • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• • Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted.
• • Ability to lift 200lbs assisted
• • Repeating motions that may include the lower back, knees, hips, ankles, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• • Operating machinery and/or power tools.
• • Operating motor vehicles or standard warehouse material handling equipment (for up to 6 hours daily)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works in a fast-paced, noisy, non-temperature controlled environment, varying between internal warehouse environments, delivery vehicles, outdoors, and internal/external customer locations.
