Job Description

QDI Construction is currently seeking an experienced administrative professional to work as an Administrative Assistant at our corporate office in Tampa, Florida. This is a Monday-Friday position, typically working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional duties falling outside of those hours. Due to business needs, this role cannot be done remotely. The successful candidate will be working in-person in our offices.

This role serves as administrative support to the company's Directors of Construction and offers support to field personnel as well.

Outstanding communication, organization, and customer service skills are a must. Additional daily tasks include, but are not limited to, filing, preparing reports and documents, sorting and distributing mail, and providing general administrative support to various departments, as well as to our restaurants.

The qualified candidates will have at least five (5) years working in an administrative capacity within the construction industry. Candidates must have knowledge of construction industry standards, including, but not limited to, permitting, RFPs, contracts, building plans, safety, and material ordering. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential. Experience with construction management software, especially ProCore, preferred. This role will work with both internal and external clients, so a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor are needed.
