Position Overview:
The Social Impact Specialist will work with the Executive Director and the Director of Marketing and Communications to engage the broader community, organizations, and nonprofits. This role focuses on sustaining and growing all programs under the CPSEMO umbrella, developing marketing strategies, creating content, increasing community awareness, and measuring program impact. The position requires strong marketing, communication, and organizational skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Research and Analysis:

  • Gather data to measure growth and create A/B testing to best market to the community's interest.
  • Create surveys to support and guide CPSEMO in program development and informed decision-making.

 

Strategy Development:

  • Identify CPSEMO value-based quarterly objectives for each program to build capacity and awareness.
  • Create company-wide content quality standard guidelines for individualized program marketing.
  • Develop a communications strategy to improve volunteer recruitment, committee growth, and donor engagement.

 

Implementation:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to inform statewide agencies, community groups, and the public about the MO BoS and CPSEMO.
  • Support marketing communications content strategy by delivering various programming content through websites, social platforms, fundraising, videography, and other applicable applications.
  • Increase community awareness of CPSEMO through strategized marketing, including peer learning experiences, leadership development, and collaborative planning through committees.
  • Create various organizational videos, such as holiday videos, capital campaign videos, volunteer welcome videos, donor videos, testimonials, program educational videos, or any other relevant videos to build CPSEMO's social impact.
  • Take part in monthly meetings for the MO BoS and all CPSEMO committees/meetings.
  • Report meeting notes within 24 hours of meetings.
  • Develop communication materials to showcase program outcomes or success to invested partnered organizations.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop the public presence of MO BoS and CPSEMO.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong marketing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community partners.
  • Experience in social impact or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using communication and marketing tools, including social media platforms and video editing software.
